The betrothal was a surprise for all as the couple did not announce their engagement, leaving everyone guessing they might have engaged secretly.
It was more of a private wedding in Silang, Cavite, where media were prohibited.

Fan Girl actress Charlie Dizon, born April Rose Dizon Matienzo, is a 28-year-old from the Philippines born to her parents, mother Nida Dizon Matienzo and Ramon Matienzo, on April 12, 1996.
Her father, Ramon, is an electrical engineer from Pansipit and also an entrepreneur who owns a construction company in Batangas.
