Rep. John Rose’s wife, Chelsea Brooke Doss Rose, 35 years old, was born in Murfreesboro, Tennessee, to devout Christian parents Jeff and Beth Doss of Christiana.
She graduated from Eagleville High School in 2007 and later attended Tennessee Tech University, majoring in Agribusiness Management and Agricultural Communications from 2007 to 2011.
Doss received the Jerry and Betty Williams Rose Scholarship awarded by her husband, John Rose, and held various designations during her college days, including Tennessee FFA State President (2007-08), School of Agriculture Ambassador, and Student Government Senator.
She was an avid athlete who had played basketball and softball. She was to graduate in 2011, but her marriage with Rep. Rose pushed it to 2012.
The marriage was not much of people’s concern until John Rose took on the position of Tennessee’s 6th congressional district representative in 2019.
