A week back, the 20-year-old Columbia student activist Khymani James posted a video online saying, “Zionists should ‘not exist’ and I feel very comfortable, very comfortable, calling for those people to die.”
The video soon went viral, dragging him under the law as Khymani gave a provoking statement based on people’s religion and their ethnic identity.
Meanwhile, he has accumulated an abundance of hatred from the masses, and so have his parents, who probably have nothing to do with what he said.
On April 26, 2024, referring to Khymani’s provocative video, a Twitter user tweeted, “He’s a bloody idiot! His parents taught him nothing about being Black in Amerikkka. He’s ruining his life!!.”
Khymani James’ parents have stayed mum on his case; why so?
In a recent time, the life of Khymani James has turned upside down due to his hateful remarks about Zionism.
Many urged the government for his arrest, and he couldn’t resist posting an apology statement shortly after. However, his college barred him from getting inside the premises.
BPS put me through so much, but nonetheless I overcame every obstacle they threw at me. I will forever remain resilient and truthful in everything that I encounter.

A lot has happened, but his parents have not appeared in the media. Meanwhile, they have neither supported nor opposed their son.
They probably anticipated his son would do something more significant in his life as Khymani grew up flaunting his leadership skills very early on.
After joining the Boston Student Advisory Council in 2020, Khymani began advocating for educational equity, influenced by his mother’s belief, which says, “Education is the key to success.”
Khymani James even introduces himself as an educator on his Twitter account, mentioning that he is “supporting and teaching liberation everywhere.”
Such an aspiring leader seems to have destroyed his life with his inflammatory comments, but did it happen due to his innocence, or was it intended? Well, it’s hard to interpret.
