On May 1, 2024, a Twitter user named Grandwizard posted Lamar and his partner Whitney’s picture with an unknown lady on his Twitter account and wrote, “Whitney Alford Kendrick Lamar wife’s mother is half Albanian and Norwegian.”
Well, the credibility of the Tweet has yet to be verified. But if it’s accurate, then her parents belonging to different ethnicities most possibly come true as reports suggest that her father is African-American.
Further, her parents were residents of Compton, California, at the time of her birth in 1986. While further details about her parents are yet under the media radar, it seems like they have had a strained relationship, more likely from the time when their daughter Whitney Alford was still a child.

Further, in her lengthy caption, she went on to describe her childhood more fully, during which she experienced her father’s run from their responsibilities.
Whitney Alford wrote, “In my life, I’ve witnessed a great majority of fathers run from their responsibilities,” intending to address that she lacked fatherly figures while growing up.
Likewise, she also stated that she was already 30 years old when she celebrated Father’s Day for the first time. The statement eventually clarified that her parents hardly lived together while raising their daughters. They most probably have their own separate lives at present as well.
