Survivor 46 cast member Kenzie Petty, with her husband Jackson Petty, announced on Instagram on May 13, 2024, that she is pregnant with her firstborn.
Alongside beautiful pregnancy pictures, she wrote, “WE’RE HAVING A BABY!! Sweet lil Petty popping up in September.”
The reality TV star chose Mother’s Day to announce she is also joining the club of motherhood. In the heartfelt post caption, Kenzie Petty also thanked her husband, Jackson, for making her momma.
“Thank you for being my partner in crime, life and parenthood. I am forever grateful for you and for starting our little family. Even though it’s a day for the girlies, I literally couldn’t have done this without you and couldn’t have imagined a better father for my children,” she added.

It’s well-known that Kenzie Petty has been happily married to Jackson Petty for almost a year. The couple walked down the aisle on September 2, 2023. And now, with the latest announcement, in the same month, it seems they will be welcoming their first child.
After their marriage, Kenzie took her Instagram to share her joy and express her gratitude for the love she got in the lengthy caption.
She wrote, “I married the most amazing human I’ve ever met, in a home we built on love and community. This entire day was built on friendship…… I’m grateful for this love, I’m grateful for my husband, I’m grateful for my family and friends for making everything magical..“
Her husband Jackson has been her greatest supporter, especially in her TV career.
Kenzie said her then-fiancee and now-husband Jackson motivated her to try her hand out at the reality show Survivor.
Kenzie told Parade, “I told my fiancee, ‘I’m thinking about applying for Survivor.‘ He’s like, ‘You’re literally born and bred and built for this. You should definitely do that.‘”
Media reports that her husband Jackson even assisted Kenzie Petty in filming an audition video; after all, he is a photographer.
They have known each other since they were teens, as Kenzie mentions Jackson as her next-door boy. But given their Instagram posts, they might have started dating in 2020.
According to his LinkedIn account, Jackson is an experienced photographer with over nine years of professional experience.
After earning a Bachelor’s degree in Fine and Studio arts in 2015, he began his career as a Gallery Assistant at Hauser & Wirth in Greater Los Angeles.
In January 2018, he co-founded Tent Studios, a rentable boutique photo studio in Charlotte, North Carolina. He now operates as both a founder and manager at Tent.
