On August 19, 2024, near Porticello, the coast of Sicily, Charlotte Golunski and her husband, James Emsley, fought hard to save their daughter, Sophie, from drowning after encountering a tornado-induced storm that sank their luxurious superyacht, the Bayesian.
After surviving the violent storm, Charlotte Golunski, mother of one-year-old Sophie, told the Italian newspaper la Repubblica that she used all of her strength to keep her daughter afloat.

She said, “I held her afloat … my arms stretched upwards to keep her from drowning.” Charlotte even revealed she lost her daughters grip for a moment and later caught her again like a miracle of some sort.
Fortunately, the Italian coast guard rescued Charlotte Golunski, her husband James Emsley and their daughter Sophie via a lifeboat on Monday. Moreover, as per the latest updates, all three of them are now safe with some minor abrasions.

With no social media account activity from Charlotte Golunski and her husband James Emsley, there is pretty much nothing online about them. Regardless, the couple has one-year-old infant daughter, Sophie.
