Thomas Matthew Crooks, a 20-year-old boy, carried out a shoot-out during former President Donald Trump’s campaign rally in Pennsylvania from the roof of a manufacturing plant 130 yards away, which led to his instant demise from the Secret Service’s headshot.
No one has determined the intention of the boy for shooting multiple times with an AR-style rifle, resulting in the failed assassination attempt that injured Trump’s right ear.

Initially, the shooter’s identity was unclear as he did not have any ID on him at the site.
Later, the FBI took DNA tests and biometrics for confirmation that Thomas Matthew Crook was the assailant whose rash attack led to the death of one rally attendee and critically injured two others.
The police force and FBI have contacted Thomas Matthew Crooks’ parents for any clues, but they were in shock as this was beyond their cognition.
Thomas Matthew Crooks’ parents were registered Democrats, while he was a Republican
The recent havoc caused by Thomas Matthew Crooks has highlighted his upbringing, as such hatred in a 20-year-old was abnormal.
Thomas Matthew Crooks was born in September 2003 to his parents’ mother, Mary Elizabeth, and father, Matthew Brian Crooks, in Bethel Park, Pennsylvania.
His father, Matthew, 53, is a psychologist and counselor registered as a Democrat. Sources say he has authored many academic books and earns an annual salary of $310,000.

When asked about the recent scenario regarding his son, Matthew replied that he needed time to process everything and would wait for law enforcement before commenting further about his son.
On the other hand, there is some confusion regarding his mother, Mary. Some believe that she is a housewife who taught in a primary school, while others claim she is a behavioral counselor. The authentication of this information is still pending.
As for politics, Mary is also a registered Democrat, but surprisingly, voter ID showed that Thomas was a Republican, different from his parents.
Yet, in 2021, he donated $15 to Act Blue, a political committee for Democratic candidates.
Also, recently, a video of him saying, “I hate Republicans,” went viral on Twitter, making people confused about his political stance.

Another post from his mother, Mary, is also receiving attention on Twitter, where she mentioned that her son Thomas was a great boy but had some mental issues and was dealing with built-up anger from bullies.
Her words seem like she is trying to justify the act of her son and protesting against Republicans by highlighting the words of Trump from his 1998 reply to a magazine.
