Malaysian artist, Red Hon Yi sourced 20,000 teabags to create this stunning portrait of a Teh Tarik man. The artist stained the teabags with hot water and dyes, creating an intricate patchwork of colors and textures. Teh Tarik is an integral part of Malaysian culture. The piece serves as a source of personal and cultural importance. “Teh Tarik Man” was created in Melbourne, Australia and is currently on display at the World Economic forum in Davos, Switzerland.
