The video for Anni from the Increases II EP (available on June 25th via Get Me!) by London’s Slime (Will Archer). The visuals were directed by Harry Winteringham and ideally compliment the music; both have an urban tone with a nature-inspired resonance. This effectively compliments Slime’s commingling of the analog and the digital.

Slime, who is on Tough Love Records, is a  multi-instrumentalist who fearlessly layers a spectrum of sounds that are at his disposal; the resultant compositions lull you into a aural daze. It’s akin to listening to Miles Davis‘ Bitches Brew after downing a couple of hydrocodone. It’s a sleepy and hypnotic mash of instrumental blips. It’s free-form enough to keep you interested, and wondering where the next note will hit, but there’s also an agreeable measure of repetition to make it wholly accessible.
