Smalltalk / Ultraísta / The Superslice

Nigel Godrich (producer of every Radiohead release since My Iron Lung EP in 1994) has teamed up with Joey Waronker (drummer/producer) and Laura Bettinson (a London based singer) to create the group Ultraísta. Their new track Smalltalk is akin in its production to a lot of the work that Godrich has done in the past: thick, coated sounds with an effervescent synth line leading the track. These sounds fuse delightfully with Bettison’s glistening vocals. Check it out.
