For the most recent edition of sculpture by the sea in Aarhus, Denmark, Indian artist Arunkumar H G comments on a disposable lifestyle, which — although convenient — creates an unhealthy and unsustainable environment. ‘there is a huge imbalance in between our sustainable ecology and our contemporary living practices.’ Arunkumar says. using more than 70,000 bottle tops collected from cities around the world, the artist has formed ‘droppings and the dam(n)’ along the Danish coast.
