Los Angeles without cars is somewhat unimaginable, However  filmmaker, Russell Houghten has created surreal video showing what it would be like to skate around Los Angeles in the absence of cars.  Urban Isolation was shot in the presence of regular Los Angeles traffic. The cars were edited in post production to give the city an abandoned feel.
