Prospect is the coming-of-age story of a teenage girl on a toxic alien planet. She and her father hunt for precious materials, aiming to strike it rich. When the father is attacked by a roving bandit, the daughter must take control. Prospect premiered at the 2014 SXSW Film Festival.

By Shep Films based in Seattle, Washington, the fantastic science fiction short film, Prospect, has finally debuted after financing their short via Kickstarter. The film was directed by Zeek Earl and Chris Caldwell.

The teenage girl prospector is played by Callie Harlow and actor Tony Doupe is her father.

The costumes, photography, setting and story in this production are impressive.
