The Weeknd recently partnered up with Universal Republic to re-release his three, formerly free, 2011 mixtapes, (House of Balloons, Thursday and Echoes of Silence) as a trilogy. The repackaged and remastered Trilogy drops on November 13th, along with three new tracks, fresh from the studio.

Here is the official video for Rolling Stone, originally off of the mixtape, Thursday. It was directed by Abel Tesfaye, himself.

There have been many previous fanmade videos (which have been quickly wiped) and an official one but this video is the first to actually feature The Weeknd and focus on the performance by Abel. It has a legitimate artistic vibe which brings him to the next level, an even higher stage. Subtle, simple, mysterious, moody, and classic, it is completely fitting for The Weeknd’s verve.
