Origami Rhino Unfolding / Mabona Origami x Stoptrick

A fun animation by Hamburg, Germany’s Stoptrick of the unfolding of an origami rhinoceros by Mabona Origami.

Stoptrick, a specialty animation studio, directs and write sinnovative films in a variety of styles including stopmotion, hand-drawn 2D, hand puppets, live action, stereoscopic 3D and miniatures. They have their own workshops, stages, equipment, motion control rigs and offer full production from idea to screen to visual effects shots.

Sipho Mabona’s origami works span a spectrum of different styles from very intricate representational designs to abstract geometric shapes. The impeccable folding reflect his sense for lines and shapes. They are true works of art. Mabona currently resides in Luzern, Switzerland.
