These photos by photographer Ben Thomas use the popular tilt-shift technique or as some might call it, miniature faking. Here, we explore New York, with lots of great cityscape shots including landmarks such as Yankee stadium and The High Line.

Born 1981 in Adelaide Australia, Ben Thomas graduated from the International Design Effects and Animation School (Adelaide, South Australia) before picking up photography and a new city, Melbourne. Ben is constantly evolving the techniques he employs to bring about a style that is notonly creative but also fun.

Ben’s work has been exhibited worldwide (recently in the USA, Paris, Berlin,Melbourne and Tokyo) and has been featured in numerous publications. Considered one of the pioneers of tilt shift photography, Ben has been featured by Adobe International and won the ACMP Projections Best Art photographer 2008.
