The eastern region of The Democratic Republic of Congo has been involved in a deadly civil wall for over a decade. Many have died and thousands have suffered from the conflict. Photographer Richard Mosse traveled to the battlefield and documented the strife with infrared film (made for camouflage detection). The results are creepy, bizarre, gorgeous and powerful.
